For the first time ever, a Rotary Conference is being held in Bhutan – the Land of Happiness.
The 9th RI District 3292 Annual Conference will be co-hosted by the Rotary Club of Thimphu from February 17 – 19, 2017 in Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.
In recognition of the Rotarians’ humanitarian services that touch every aspect of human civilization all around the world, the Royal Government of Bhutan is allowing an unprecedented tariff free entry to all participating Rotarians and their spouses, for full five days.
The waiver of Daily Tariff of US$ 230.00 per day per person (including 2-persons surcharge) will translate into savings of US$ 2,300.00 per couple, thereby making it possible – for the first time – for world Rotarians and their spouses to be able to finally visit a dream destination that has remained illusive for most. While the Rotarians
are attending the Conference, the spouses can enjoy the many sites and sounds of Thimphu.
The District Governor of RI District 3292 and The Rotary Club of Thimphu take pleasure in extending our invitation to the global community of Rotarians and their spouses to participate in this global event that takes place in Bhutan for the first time. Beyond the opportunity to visit a famed tourist destination, it will be an occasion for building goodwill and establishing bonds that will go to benefit humanity, through fellowship and collaboration.
